An accident happened in Enchi City in central China’s Hubei Province. A man named Mr. Feng just left a restaurant near the accident's place, he heard screams 11 floors above him. Everyone in there began to notice a woman want to jamp from that 11 floors. After he saw like that he didn't think about his own safety, Mr. Feng quickly opened his arms in an attempt to save the woman by catching her. The woman plunged at a very high speed, knocking him out. Unfortunately, the woman didn’t survive the fall.
The selfless act left Mr. Feng severely injured on his knee joints, and had a tibial plateau fracture. His anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments and the medial ligament have also been dislocated. But according to him, he didn’t regret what he did, but was sad that he wasn’t able to save the woman’s life.
Li Yanbing, the surgeon who attended to Mr. Feng’s needs explains: ‘He was knocked out by the impact and suffered injuries on his knee joints, and had a tibial plateau fracture. His anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments and the medial ligament have been dislocated.’
Mr. Feng is now dubbed a hero across the globe after the video of his selfless act was released on the internet.
